Seven Owl Style Ju-Jitsu is taught strictly as self-defense, the rules of this art are "No mercy, No Rules, No Stopping." It is an excellent self-defense art, taking the throws of Judo and adding finishing techniques that will disable an attacker.

Throws, grappling, chokes, locks on all joints, striking and kicking techniques, and confrontational awareness are emphasized. It is based on the styles of Ten-Shin-Shinyo-Ryu and Kito Ryu Ju-Jitsu and exceeds the certification levels of the USJA hybrid Ju-Jitsu.
