Krista and I would like to welcome all our friends from the Dojo to Grill Night.
Grill Night is a series of low-key summer parties. We're having them on Thursday evenings to avoid conflicts with Judo practice.
The inaugural Grill Night is Thursday, June 8, starting at 6:30 pm, with beer & brats. We've located some family recipe bratwurst from a butcher in Wisconsin and a keg of excellent lager. The whole event is completely casual. Subsequent dates are July 6 and August 10. We live at 507 Moncure Drive in Charlotte (near South Park mall).
Please let us know if you can attend. Because we're using eVite to keep at least a rough head count, please send me your mail address, so that I can add you to the list for this and future events. Finally, please allow email from info@evite.com through your spam filter.
I'll miss mixed martial arts this Saturday (darned work!). If someone could please post the invitation in the Dojo (I emailed it to those of you for whom I have email addresses), I'd appreciate it. I plan to be there Monday night. See you then.
